0.01% Yearly Subscription Fee

Overview

Overview

The Ad Swapper “Plugin Only” subscription type yearly subscription fee is actually:-

  • 0.01% of the annual income earned by the website (or the business or other organisation that owns it),
  • With a minimum of USD 29.99.

In other words, the fee is proportional to the size of the website (or the business or other organisation that owns it).  There’s obviously no way we can provide support to medium and large companies for just USD 29.99 per year.  So the size-related fee is an attempt to create a fee that’s realistic, no matter what the size of your website/business.

Website/Business Turnover No More Than (USD) 299,000 / 699,900 ?

As shown in the following table:-

  • A WordPress site needs a website/business annual income of more than USD 299,900, before it pays more than the minimum USD 29.99 yearly subscription fee.
  • And a non-WordPress site needs a website/business annual income of more than USD 699,900, before it pays more than the minimum USD 69.99 yearly subscription fee.
Subscription Type Annual Income Up To Which The Minimum Fees Apply (USD) Subscription Fee (USD Per Year)
WordPress Site $299,900 $29.99
Non-WordPress Site $699,900 $69.99

So; private individuals and many small eShops and businesses pay only USD 29.99 (WordPress sites) – or USD 69.99 (non-WordPress sites) – for one years unlimited Ad Swapper advertising (unlimited ads on unlimited sites).

Website/Business Turnover More Than (USD) 299,000 / 699,900 ?

If your website/business annual income is more than USD 299,900 (WordPress sites) – or USD 699,900 (non-WordPress sites) – than the Ad Swapper yearly subscription fee is 0.01% of your website/business annual income.

In other words, to get your Ad Swapper yearly subscription fee, just multiply your website/business annual income by 0.0001.  (Or alternatively, use the calculator in the Calculator tab.)

The other question that comes up, of course, is; “What exactly do we mean by ‘website/business annual income’?”  If you’re not sure, the examples in the Examples tab will hopefully clarify this…

And if you’re still not sure, just submit the form in the Not Sure? Too Much? Request Custom/Confirmed Price tab (including your best guess as to what the subscription fee should be).  So that we can quickly sort out a number we’re both happy with…

Examples

Examples

Private Blog/Website

If you’ve got a small WordPress blog/website that basically earns no money, then the minimum fee of USD 29.99 applies.  And even if the site’s an eShop, and/or earns money from ads, if the total income is under USD 299,900 per year, you still pay the minimum price.

Similarly, a non_WordPress that earns less than USD 699,900 per year, pays the minimum USD 69.99 yearly subscription fee.

Small Business

Say you have a small business earning USD 800,000 per year, then the Ad Swapper yearly subscription fee would be 0.01% of that; ie; USD 80 (per year).

Charity/Non-Profit

Say you have a charity or non-profit earning USD 5 million per year, then the Ad Swapper yearly subscription fee would be 0.01% of that; ie; USD 500 (per year).

The fact that the website is promoting a charity/non-profit – rather than a business – is irrelevant.  It’s still the total income – presumably from donations and/or government grants, etc – that matters.

Government Department

Assume that the website is the main website for a Government Department with a budget of say USD 100 million per year. Then the Ad Swapper yearly subscription fee is 0.01% of that; ie; USD 10,000 (per year).

Government Department Specialist Sub-Website

Assume that the Health Department is a Government Department with a budget of USD 500 million per year.  And wants to install Ad Swapper only on a specialist website providing help/support to pregnant women.  Assuming that help/support for pregnant women had a yearly budget of USD 1 million, then the Ad Swapper yearly subscription fee would be 0.01% of that; ie; USD 100 (per year).

Acme International

Assume that Acme International is an engineering and ship-building company with three divisions:-

Division Name Annual Income (USD)
Forklift Trucks 500 million
Fishing Boats 300 million
Conveyor Belts 100 million
TOTAL 900 million

Assume that the company itself has a main website (to promote the company as a whole – and investor relations – for example).  And also has a separate website for each division (to promote/sell/support that particular division’s products and services, etc).

So Acme could install Ad Swapper on the main website and any or all of the divisional websites for a yearly subscription fee of 0.01% of USD 900 million; ie; USD 90,000 (per year).

Alternatively, if Acme wanted to install Ad Swapper on only the Fishing Boats division website (to promote Fishing Boats only), then the yearly subscription fee would be 0.01% of USD 300 million; ie; USD 30,000 (per year).

But if Acme wanted to install Ad Swapper on the main website only (to promote the company as a whole – and investor relations – for example), what then should the annual income be?

There’s no clear answer to this question: 10 million?, 100 million?, 900 million?, who knows?  But if Acme were to settle on USD 100 million as being the appropriate figure, then the yearly subscription fee would be 0.01% of USD 100 million; ie; USD 10,000 (per year).

Summary

In most cases, it’s probably quite easy to determine what the appropriate “annual income” should be.  But where this isn’t the case, we mainly rely on you – the customer – to come up with a fair and reasonable figure.

Note! Obviously, we can always come back to you if we feel the need to query what you’ve suggested.  And perhaps negotiate something different, for either then, or when the time comes to renew your subscription.

If you’d like to confirm the figure you’ve come up with, before signing up, it’s not a problem.  Please just submit the form in the Not Sure? Too Much? Request Custom/Confirmed Price tab (and we’ll respond to your query ASAP).
